Korean Lash Lift
A fresh wave is sweeping through the lash world, and you’ll want to be at the forefront. The Korean lash lift, also known as the glueless lash lift, is the latest innovation that’s quickly gaining popularity among lash professionals. This cutting-edge technique takes traditional lash lifting to the next level: gentler, safer, and completely glue-free.
And the best part? It’s perfect for even the most coarse, stubborn lashes. Thanks to its powerful yet gentle cysteamine-based formula and unique glueless application method, this lift creates a strong, defined curl even on thick, straight lashes without damage.
At Coco House of Beauty, your trusted supplier for all things lash & brow, we stay on top of industry innovations. The glueless lash lift is taking salons in over the world by storm, and now you can offer it too, complete with the right products, and tools to stay ahead in your craft.
Step-by-Step: How to Perform a Korean Lash Lift
1. Preparation
- Thoroughly cleanse the natural lashes with an oil-free cleanser or lash shampoo.
- Apply under-eye pads to protect the lower lashes.
- Mix Step 1 lotion (such as Elleebana Profusion) with a small amount of glueless glue powder, if extra grip is needed.
- Apply Step 1 to the lashes (only on the hairs, avoid skin contact).
- Choose a lifting tool suited to your client’s lashes:
- Use a Korean Lashlift Shield to assist with precise placement and control..
- Or opt for a Lashlift Buddie, a soft and flexible applicator, perfect for finer lashes.
2. Softening & Shaping
- Allow Step 1 to process, depending on the natural lash thickness (typically 8–12 minutes).
- Gently remove the solution using a dry microbrush.
- Place a shield or rod onto the eyelid.
- Use a balm or glueless glue powder mix to attach the lashes to the shield or rod. The balm provides enough hold without the need for traditional lash glue.
3. Setting & Finishing
- Mix Step 2 lotion (e.g. Elleebana Profusion Setting Lotion) with glueless glue powder if necessary, and apply it to the lashes.
- Let it process according to the instructions (usually 8–10 minutes).
- Remove the setting lotion and gently detach the shield or buddie.
- Optional: Apply a lash tint for added depth and definition.
- Finish with Step 3, a nourishing lotion like Elleebana Elleeplex that hydrates and strengthens the lashes.
